Tis’ the season & while we’ve been super busy selling, we are also still producing!  These great earrings were made by our own Rachel Harris… They are tanzanite, black spinial, blue chalcedony, and amethyst.  Very pretty!  So don’t worry about the mad holiday rush, we still have plenty of great goodies! 

I have decided to sublet some studio space that I have at the shop.  I am looking for an artist or crafts-person who is looking for some room to grow as well as product placement opportunity in the store.  Ideally this will be someone who lives locally, and of course who’s craft will fit in with the shop’s other offerings.  I also have storage space that would come as part of this package.   The lease would be a tenant at will, so their would be no long term commitment.  Please contact me directly either at the store 978.463.3077 or through email kimgobbi@jonesysjewels.com .  Pass this on to whomever you think might be interested!

Two grat new styles in from Del Forte Denim today.  Delforte Denim uses only 100% organic cotton and sweat shop free labor to produce this very hip line of your comfortable favorites.  The Eugenia (shown above) is a mid rise slim leg jean that is “a favorite of eco-hotties everywhere”.   The Flora (shown below) is a wide leg lower rise with a comfortable fit for any body type.  Ours have a great wash that is slightly lighter and worn through the thighs.  Come down and try these babies on!

Gorgeous  handbags in today from Adrianna Sassoon (Vidal’s Daughter).  Many can be accessorized with scarves and the beautifully grained leathers are meant to get better with age and wear.  Please excuse my poor photography, it doesn’t do justice. 

As usual Bald Guy Greetings has managed to sum up most people’s thoughts perfectly.  Usually we don’t say these things aloud, but something about the funny illustrated characters (they are so ugly they’re cute)  and the tongue in cheek delivery make it work.  Come in for a quick giggle…

We have restocked the beautiful “cube” bags from Kisim.  We love the super soft leather and the great functional shape of these bags, so will you!   We got in the Grey bag (pictured in back) for the first time, it’s too beautiful to describe, this picture doesn’t do it justice.  It’s grey, but somehow silver without the metalic, can’t explain… Loosing words… come in and drool…

I am sitting here typing looking through a box from OPLUSD, laughing my ass off.  If you want some of these head down soon, before I send them all out to everyone I know!  As usual OPLUSD has mananged to litterally take my breath away with their candor and just all out fun.  

Great new belts and interchangeable buckles from Shu Shu arrived today.  We love the vintage feel and beautiful details.  Hand painted and decoupaged together, all are one of a kind and signed by the artist. 

Obviously the shop will be closed tomorrow for Thanksgiving.  We wish everyone a happy holiday and hope you get to spend it with all your loved ones.  See you on Friday!

These are the new Long Cloak Hoodies.  They are new to the Prairie Underground collection.  They are the shape and style of the Short Cloak Hoodie (which has been a part of the collection for 2 seasons now), but they are a mid thigh length.  We have them in “brown out” and “deep blue”.  You are going to love this new length!

We sell a lot of cards at the Shop.  We love OPLUSD and Bald Guy Greetings, but we so thrilled to be able to add these cards from Julianna Holowka.  Mean Cards for Many Occasions is an excellent addition to our growing niche of greetings for the brutally honest.  Julianna’s cute illustrations and funny commentary are sure to illicit a giggle. 

Just a reminder The Studio is always happy to host a birthday party!  We had one this afternoon and the kids seemed to have a ball.  We hold parties on weekday afternoons or early evenings, also on Sunday mornings or Sunday evenings. 

Anna Jaques had a great campaign for digital mammography that featured local women business owners.  This was my ad (I think there was major use of photoshop!) that appeared in yesterdays newspaper.  Special thanks to Jennifer Karin from Company Public Relations who was nice enough to include me in this wonderful Public Service Campaign.  Now everyone go out and get a mammogram!

Long Cloak Hoodie in “Brownout”

Okay, here’s the scoop.   Prairie Underground ships from the West Coast on the 30th, so right now, our LAST & FINAL SHIPMENT OF THE YEAR is on it’s way.  We’ve ordered the Short Cloak Hoodies, the Long Prairie Hoodies, as well as the Long Cloak Hoodie pictured above (which is new to the line).  We will have two color choices in each style arriving, including a limited number of extra smalls and extra larges.  If you want to pre-order one, Please call the shop (978.463.3077) ASAP!  These sell out very quickly, our next shipment will be spring colors in March.   Keep checking the blog for pictures of all the colors and styles — we’ll post as soon as the box arrives.

Love these guys.  The Goorin Brothers make fun hats and accessories at affordable prices for these little pieces of luxury.  Snaz up any outfit with a fun hat or cute little hand warming fingerless gloves. 

I discovered Bag Lunch by accident, and felt like I bumped into an old friend.  When I was in middle school, I loved the flavored lip gloss that came in the little tins with the sliding top (remember those?).  These great tubes  from Bag Lunch are like a grown up version including flavors like chilled margarita, and french vanilla late.  For those of us who still harbor a sweet tooth there is strawberry milkshake and  slice of birthday cake.  I’m putting one in the pocket of every coat and purse I own. 

I saw Jamie Beattie on the popular design blog Design Sponge and was immediately smitten.  I love the bright colors and downright cheerfullness these cute little coin purses evoke.  So all the way from Australia, they’re here to brighten your day!

This dress from Modaspia looked so great on this cute woman that I had to take her picture!  We put a whole outfit together for her and I really think she looked awesome!  She got the dress, the “Hoopla”  necklace and bracelet from Ryan Kundrat, and the “moon” shoes from DRU New York.  I love the way the whole outfit came together for a really slick look.  She was super nice and great to photograph too!  Happy happy Friday…

Kelly Lane sent us beautiful “criss cross” dresses in brick and pewter.  Lovey bell sleeves and bold detail around the neck complete this modern take on the dress you’ll want to wear everywhere! 

“Sustainable, Elegant, Fashion Forward”  Emily Katz’s new line is all that and more.  It’s absolutely fabulous.  Emily (formally of the line Bonnie Heart Clyde) has created a line of clothes that oozes chic and polish, yet is comfortable and wearable for every woman.  Best of all Emily believes in creating only with sustainable eco-friendly fabrics.  The line is made of organic cotton fleece, hemp, and soy/lycra jersey.  Not only will these clothes be good for your ego, they’re good for our environment!  We split the order into two deliveries, first up are these pretty dresses, in black and butter.  I’ll post pictures of the next two offerings when they arrive early November. 

These sheer/stretchy shirts from Ahpeele have been super popular this Fall.  Last time we got them in we sold out in a few days.  We just re-stocked so hurry down.  We got a few new colors and styles too.
